Astor Place

On this small underground urban site, I created slits in the surface to provide light and sound into and out of the interior galleries, day and night, respectively. These slits also function as seating and entry.

South Boston

The site given is the negative space created by this complex highway interchange of I-90 and I-93. The program to be inserted was mixed housing, retail, and university space. The idea here was to create a transition in public space as once passed through the site. From dense urban vertical space to more horizontal open public space.

Lower Manhattan

Set across the street from the World trade Center, this site is located in the heart of the business district of NYC. My intention was to create a stack of modular spaces made of "super floors" that can support small communities. Essientially bringing the street to the sky, while at the same time creating a structure that is easily adaptable and sustainable.

Union Square

On this small underground urban site, I created slits in the surface to provide light and sound into and out of the interior galleries, day and night, respectively. These slits also function as seating and entry.
